DAY 1: MARRAKECH, OUARZAZATE.
Departure from your hotel or riad in Marrakech at 8:30 for crossing the marvelous landscape of High Atlas mountains and passing over the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260 m) where we will have several stops to give you the opportunity to take pictures of the spectacular views. First visit will be the kasbah of Pasha Glaoui in Telouet. After the visit we drive through the Ounila Valley for reaching the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou that is selected as a world heritage of UNESCO. After lunch we visit the ksar. Then we drive to Ouarzazate, where you will spend the night in a beautiful riad.
DAY 2: OUARZAZATE , DRAA VALLEY ,MHAMID.
Departure from your riad in Ouarzazate for crossing the Anti Atlas mountains and Tizi n’Tnififte pass (2600 m), with its marvelous landscape. We reach Draa valley the biggest palm groves in Morocco (200 km of palm groves). We drive in offroad (ancient road of the caravan), for discoving many old kasbahs sadly most fall ruins. We stop in Zagora for having lunch. Later we drive to M’hamid crossing a beautiful stony Desert with its Acacias trees. Arrive to M’hamid, night and dinner in Berber Campsite.
DAY 3: TREKKING FROM ERG LIHOUDI TO OUED NAAM.
Departure after breakfast. derection Erg Chegaga. After 3 hours of hiking, we stop for having lunch in Race Nkhal. Departure after eating, to keep walking to Oued Naam. Two hours of hiking for reaching it. Camp and night next to beautiful dunes.
DAY 4: TREKKING FROM OUED NAAM TO OUED LAATACH.
Departure from Oued Naam at 8:00. 3 hours of hiking crossing a dry lake (reg), having lunch in Loitude at 15 :00. After lunch we walk throught beautiful dunes (erg), camp and dinner.
DAY 5: OUED LAATACH TO ERG CHAGAGA. HAMADA, OASIS AND DUNES.
After breakfast we cross a step of hamada (stony desert). Lunch in secret oasis. After lunch we depart to Chagaga dunes (the highest dunes of Morocco, 300 metres high). Night and dinner in a berber campsite.
DAY 6: ERG CHAGAG, FOUM ZGUID, TAZNAKHT, MARRAKECH.
If you wake up early enough you can see the beautiful sunrise on the highest dune of Chegaga. After breakfast we will cross the stony Desert before reaching the village of Foum Zguid, where we stop for exploring fossils. Then we drive West through the road of Paris Dakar rally. We will stop in Taznakht, the capital of the Berber carpets for having lunch. After lunch we drive back to Marrakech via the High Atlas mountains.
